Christmas Markets

The Christmas markets in and around Strasbourg are among the oldest and most enchanting in Europe, dating back to 1570. The city transforms into a glowing winter village, with thousands of lights, festive decorations, and beautifully crafted wooden chalets filling the historic center. At the heart of it all is the Christkindelsmärik at Place Broglie, along with smaller specialty markets scattered through picturesque squares and along the Ill River. Visitors can enjoy Alsatian delicacies, mulled wine, artisanal gifts, and traditional ornaments while wandering through half-timbered streets. The surrounding villages—such as Colmar, Kaysersberg, and Riquewihr—add even more charm, each offering its own magical take on the season.

note: Add on a few days in Paris before or after the trip!

Italy Uncovered through Art & Fashion

There’s another side to Rome and Naples that most travelers never experience—one that reveals the layers of history hidden just beyond the well-trod paths. In Rome, exploring Ostia Antica feels like stepping into a perfectly preserved ancient port city, far quieter and more immersive than the Forum or Colosseum. Days will be spent shopping for special treasures, delving into new parts of the city, and experiencing things that only a local can reveal.

In Naples, descending into the underground tunnels, catacombs, and archaeological discoveries uncovers a world beneath the chaos of the streets above. Together, these experiences show Italy not just as a place of grand monuments, but as a living, breathing place of art and beauty waiting to be uncovered by those willing to look a little deeper.

Beauty of Naples

flexible dates- planned for you, self guided

Naples may not have the elegance of Florence or the grandeur of Rome yet its beauty is evident as you walk along the "lungomare" with Vesuvius as an imposing neighbor. The piazzas set within the dignified Chiaia neighborhood are the Rome of 30 years ago when the local population still outweighed tourists. The cafes fill up day and night with the rush of a morning caffè or leisurely ritual of the afternoon aperitivo creating a different type of "dolce vita." We’ll help you see the best of the city, whether for one night or a few days.
